About That1LinuxGuy
I am a homelabber at heart. More than anything, I enjoy playing around with new software (mostly containers), seeing what it can do, and then designing systems for my family based on that. Additionally, I am fed up with the current internet we live with. My homelab has been my safe space - my self expression - for years at this point. I am so grateful to have found neocities and been given the opportunity to share my story and interests in a more public way. Thanks to @onionboots on youtube for exposing me to this.
My Philosophy
In a world of fast-paced development and constant notifications, I hope to provide a space for reflection. Mostly for myself - but all are welcome. (Ambiance is courtesy of lofi-code theme by meimakes. If you’re interested, I plan on using this space for:
- Personal Technical Documentation - I maintain (as of now) 3 servers, over 20 containers, and 15+ Terrabytes of data. I want a place to store my history and progress
- Lessons Tech has taught me - Modern technology has a depth and breadth that almost nothing else can recreate. And learning about tech has also connected dots in other areas of my life that I would like to share.
- Other Random Stuff - I test and iterate a lot. It is very likely one day I’ll ask myself something like “How many rubber ducks can I hide in my website?”
